Sometimes a deeper dive is needed.

Once a week office therapy can be very helpful, and sometimes a more intensive experience is needed.

Home Studies

As a program director at a therapeutic program, Maggie Wiener is used to identifying systemic strengths and weaknesses. She is skilled in seeing the root cause of an issue, and not just the problematic behavior. A home study is where a clinician spends time with your family in your environment. Whether that is the dreaded morning or bedtime routine, or anywhere in between. Just being in the home environment witnessing day to day interactions and patterns provides us more information than months of individual or family therapy could. After the home study, the clinician compiles and shares a full assessment of what they observed, and detailed recommendations and actionable steps to take toward desired change. We all have blind spots. We can’t share in therapy what we don’t see. A home study is an effective intervention to fast track change.

Therapeutic Intensives

A therapeutic intensive is a multi-hour, often experiential, therapy session. It can be done in an office environment, or it can be done outside in a natural setting. It is a way to bypass limits of traditional therapeutic interventions and take a deep dive into presenting concerns or past trauma. Maggie Wiener has extensive therapeutic experience where she often conducted intensive experiences for individual and families. She is now offering family and couple therapeutic intensives.
